About Me
I grew up in the small town of Camden, Maine, and lived there for most of my life. Camden taught me to really enjoy what's around you. No matter where you are, there is always something worth seeing. I started my filmmaking journey in 7th grade, making stop-motion videos. But if you ask my family, they'll tell you I became obsessed with cameras at the age of 2. Many years later, I have embarked on my journey to create great and powerful films.
I have a strong belief that storytelling is an art that speaks to people in different ways. As such, I aim to capture people's stories mainly through non-fictional means. I have discovered that photography and film are the most efficient methods for achieving this goal. I am proud of my work, especially because I have experimented with diverse types of media, such as graphic design, photography, film, and sound.
When it comes to any project, whether it's a documentary or a narrative, I take a thoughtful and comprehensive approach. I strongly believe that taking the time to carefully consider every aspect of a film can greatly benefit its outcome. I have a talent for editing and cinematography, which has been further developed by my passion for photography. Over the past eight years, I have gained extensive experience in film and video editing. I take my time with each film project, spending up to a year reflecting on it to ensure that I am not rushing the process and that I am bringing the best ideas forward. One of my non-fiction films, "Power Moves," explores the differences between generations, with a particular focus on Gen-Z.
